Nancy Nelle is a Certified Music Practitioner through the Music for Healing and Transition Program. She specializes in providing therapeutic singing to infants and young children. As part of her training, she also has had experiences with singing to adults in skilled nursing, as well as in home settings. She continues to offer these services in her community.
She runs her own business, Musical Moments, in which she provides music and movement activities to infants and children up to 5 years of age, and, on occasion, to school-age children. She offers Staff Development and Parent Education workshops and speaks frequently at local community colleges to Early Childhood Education students.
Nancy has received Early Childhood Music training through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada, as well as with Dr. John Feierabend, Director of the Hartt School of Music. She holds a Level 2 teacher certification through the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association. She holds a Master Teacher credential in Child Development with the State of California, and has a BS degree in Home Economics from UC Davis, focusing in Child Development.
