Lisa earned a Bachelor degree in Music Therapy from Ohio University and went on to receive her Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from CSUS. She has taught private harp lessons to hundreds of children and adults and has organized ensembles and harp workshops in the community for many years.
As a Music Therapist, Lisa was the music and art facilitator for Nevada County Mental Health Day for 12 years. Her Harp Therapy Support Group Program has served 100 adults for the past 20 years, with weekly harp classes for cancer patients, survivors, and family member caregivers.
Lisa brings vast experience, skill, and a passion for helping others through music to her service in Memory Care Communities.
