Scholarships

"Music Partners In Healthcare is a nonprofit organization based in Sacramento, California.  We are a community of Therapeutic Musicians (the majority of whom are Certified Music Practitioners) who work together to increase awareness of the work of Therapeutic Musicians by educating local health care organizations about our work and working with them to start new therapeutic music programs in their facilities.

To increase awareness of our work and increase the number of healthcare facilities who employ Therapeutic Musicians, we would like to welcome other therapeutic musicians to join our community and help us in our mission.  

For those musicians local to the greater Sacramento area, San Francisco Bay Area and North Bay/ Sonoma area, and who would like to join MPIH but who are not yet certified as a therapeutic musician, MPIH offers scholarships to cover up to half of the cost of tuition for each of the learning modules of the MHTP program.  To learn more about the scholarship and make an application, please visit www.mpih.org/scholarship"
